hladal som na toto riesenia vsade po internete, a zopar som ich aj nasiel, ale vacsina z nich nefungovala. Ale nakoniec.. skuste toto:
Farby - ked zapnete starcraft na win7, hra ma divne farby, ale vo vacsine pripadov je to iba v menu, nie priamo pri hrani. Takze to nie je ani taky velky problem. Samozrejme existuje na neho riesenie:
ukoncite "explorer.exe" pred zapnutim starcraftu a po skonceni hrania ho znovu zapnite. Mozte si vytvorit batch subor (*.BAT) a vlozit tam tieto riadky:
taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
%STARCRAFT_PATH%t\StarCraft.exe
start explorer.exe
Thento subor potom spravy vsetko za vas. Toto riesenie pre niekoho MOZE fungovat, pre niekoho nie. Mne islo, ale ako som uz povedal, nie je to az taky velky problem.
Mrznutie - Po niekolkych minutach hrania sa starcraft jednoducho zasekne. Nejde s nim nic spravit. WinAmp hra v pozadi, pocitac funguje, na pozadi bezia procesy, ale nemozete odist zo zamrznuteho starcraftu. Jedine co pomaha je tvrdy restart. Toto bol skutocny problem, a nikto na neho nevedel najst riesenie. Potom jeden typek na fore spomenul ze mu na pozadi vzdy bezi skype a ze to vyskusa vypnut. Vysledok uz nenapisal, tak som to skusil a naozaj
Ono to funguje. Zatial som to testol iba raz, ale fungovalo to. Neviem ci to pomoze aj vam, ale stoji to za vyskusanie.Starcraft nepustam v nijakom compatibility mode (kedze mi to nijako nepomohlo). Verzia 1.161.

I was looking for a solution on the internet and yeah, there was a lot of "solutions", but most of them just didnt work for me. But .. try this:
Colors - When u run starcraft on win7 you can see strange colors, but in most cases its messed up in menu only, not directly in the game. So this is not such a big problem. Of course there is a solution for this:
just end task "explorer.exe" before running starcraft, and run it after exiting the game. You can put this into batch file (*.BAT) file and it will look like this:
taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
%STARCRAFT_PATH%t\StarCraft.exe
start explorer.exe
This file will do everything for u.This MAY help to resolve this problem for some people. But as I said, its not a big problem.
Freezing - After few minutes of playing starcraft its just freezes. WinAmp continue to play your songs, your comuper is working, with one little problem - you cant exit frozen starcraft. Nothing helps but turning off your comuper manualy (hold your power button longer than 5 seconds). I couldnt find solution till now.I always run skype on the background. This noticed a guy on a forum, so I tryied to play without skype - and it helped. Im not sure, if this will help you, but its worth of trying.
I dont use any compatibility mode for starcraft (cos it doesnt help at all). Version 1.161.
