If you have a number of different programs running, and want to arrange just a couple of those to fill your screen space, here’s how.
1. Open both programs.
2. Left click on the button for one of the programs on the Taskbar.
3. Ctrl + Click on the other program’s button on the Taskbar.
4. Immediately right-click, and in the menu that opens, choose Tile Horizontally (one program on the top half of screen and one on the bottom half) or Tile Vertically (one program on the left half of the screen and one on the right half). Windows will tile only the two program windows you had selected.
You could select more open programs to tile: just keep holding Ctrl while clicking their buttons on the taskbar. If you choose 4 programs, Windows will divide the screen both horizontally and vertically.
