nainstaloval som si nove ubuntu 9.10 ale pretrval mi jeden bug uz od 8.10. ked laptop uspim tak sa zda, ze vsetko ide normalne, ale neda sa nanovo zapnut. ked to skusim tak mi len tak blika dist a pocitac na nic nereaguje, dokonca nepomohlo ani nasilne niekolkonasobne vypnutie a zapnutie, pocitac sa mi podarilo rozbehnut az po niekolkych minutach ked som ho odpojil zo siete (nechapem aky to malo zmysel, ale pomohlo)
neviete ako to opravit? sleep mi u NB celkom chyba

well it seems that many of you have been able to get your system running again, however, my Gateway laptop is STILL not responding, even after removing the battery and un-plugging the system, forced shutdowns from holding the power button, external monitors, and even slipping in the LiveCD that created the O.S. I run Ubuntu 8.04 on [a former Windows XP OS] Gateway series 3000, amd athlon processor, and unfortunatly freshly installed ATI drivers. I am intrested in the fix for the long term problem, but first I would like to know how to get it to BOOT again so I can actually try something. can anyone help? thanks
