Priklad: Mam 6,8GB VOB subor (neindexovany MPEG2), len obrazova stopa, zvuk aj titulky mimo. Otvorim ho vo VD (pouzivam 1.9.7 s .vdf filtrom pre import MPEG-2). Nastavim XviD kodek (pouzivam Koepi´s, posledna verzia, XviD filter pre ffdshow som ZATIAL neskusal). Samozrejme pouzivam dva prechody, vlastnu kvantizacnu maticu (k3_lr), vytuneny kodek pre najlepsiu kvalitu. Nastavim vystupny bitrate povedzme 1200kbps pre 1,4GB rip. Vsetko sa koduje bez chyby, ale vysledok ma napr. len 880kbps a samozrejme mensiu velkost. Inymi slovami, z casu na cas sa mi stane, ze proste vysledny subor ma mensiu velkost ako deklarujem ja aj nizsi datovy tok. Moze to byt kvalitou DVD zaznamu, s tym pocitam. Ale proste neni mozne ked mam origo DVD 7GB obraz, aby to bolo v takej nekvalite, ze nejde Q nad 2. Stava sa to niekomu? Pri pouziti DivX 6.8.5 problem nieje, vsetko prebehne ako ma. Celkovo ale radsej pouzivam XviD kvoli lepsiej kvalite obrazu, aj kvoli rychlosti.
A pod-otazka: Co je S - frame? I, P, B chapem... Ale vo vysledom DivXe mam len I, P a S frames, vobec nie B. Preco?
